"Max" is getting many opportunities, thanks to the Titan Missile Museum. Max's book is one take, and the Artist Statement page is another, for the connections to apocalypse in my work as a whole.

In May 2008, I got to make cocktails for Anthony Bourdain & the No Reservations crew. Read part of the back story and my whole take in my blog, The Apocalyptic Picnic. It was very cool just to meet and talk with Bourdain, I'm an admirer of his work. The episode lives on in rerun land like all the rest, thanks, Travel Channel!

June 19, 2008 I was a guest on the Jim Parisi (KNST AM 790) show.

I hear I have a new nickname: "Margarita Girl."

Jim was great, very interesting to talk with, and another person who is really trying to deal with--we all must, in this day and age--where does "turning the other cheek" come in the face of violence and abuse?

The Apocalyptic Picnic: fascinating & fearful facts about the A-Bomb, the H-Bomb, & Getting Bombed is the natural sequel to The Atomic Cocktail Party & Trivia Book: Drinking Your Way through the Cold War. That one's on hiatus while 2 more book projects get finished.
